What’s the efficiency for turning jet fuel into mechanical work? I’d suspect the efficiency is somewhere around 45% for liquid fuel where it’s nearly 100% for electric. So you’re really trying to reach the equivalent of 5500 Wh/kg.

Yep it only took 1000 allu akbars to get my mechanical engineering degree 🤡
Here’s an industry talk about how to prey on whales
I’m an engineer in a totally different industry but I want to know what the numbers are
Nah, just zig zag away from where you plugged it in and it’s never a problem.
A building from 1841 is still here from the French.
I mowed my grass with a corded mower for a decade until the motor bearing finally disintegrated. Cost me $100 and one blade replacement. No small gas engine was ever that reliable for me

What are you gonna do? Shave me yourself?
They put you in a tiny cubicle in a room where you do your work and nothing else in total silence for the entire school day. Or send you home unexcused.
TBF, students using going to the bathroom as an excuse to do other things is very real.
Can confirm, I did this to skip parts of band rehearsal on days where my part was super dull to play.
I don’t see why that’s a paradox. It’s like asking if infinity is bigger than infinity, where both infinities are aleph 0.
There’s a place just like this in Austin, Tx called the Cidercade - $12 to get in and their pizza is divine.
Not me but my mom. Her great grandmother gave her her “mad money” stash that she’d saved over the years, all in silver dollars. She didn’t think much of it, just kept it as a memento.
Turns out it’s 300 silver dollars minted between 1900 and 1905; some of them are worth over $1k by themselves.
Got a link to that?
AutoCAD is amazing once you get all your shortcuts and settings set up just the way you like it.
100% this. I used to work at a company that sold software that mechanical engineers used all day, every day in a certain field. Our app looked like the last pic but with better alignment.
People who are competent want all the things on their screen all at once all the time. They also want keyboard shortcuts.
Solidly millennial.
