Hexbear users apparently can’t grasp that their weird emojis don’t look right anywhere else.

Fair enough. Personally I and many others in northern Europe (and other places far from the equator) feel depressed in winter due to the highly reduced sunlight so removing DST isn’t just as obvious as “people will feel better”, because DST at least in theory helps with that.

I have never really understood why people care so much about the change.

You will just wake up one hour later or earlier twice a year, so what? I do that multiple times a week, twice per year isn’t too bad.

I feel the opposite. On mobile I have much easier access to special characters. I just need to hold down characters to get more variants.

Microsoft has loads of free stuff that you can use to learn a variety of things that are useful for IT at least.

It’s highly dependent on the job, the employer, and the employee.

Some love highly monotonous work and some hate it.

There is also a higher physical risk with factory work that should be considered.

But why would I really care if the money is going to Microsoft and Mojang if I’m getting a very good product?

I just doubt that the free alternatives are as good and Minecraft is really cheap anyways.

Minecraft has gotten a lot of updates after Microsoft bought Mojang.

I don’t personally mind paying a small amount for a good product that is constantly getting better after many years.

Sure Java could have better performance but it’s rare that it matters much on modern computers.

I personally think that Minecraft is one of the best games you can buy for the fairly low price, community, multiplayer, etc.

Pro tip: That tip has been obsolete for a long time now. Running the defragmentation tool on an SSD in Windows optimizes the drive (pretty much just running TRIM). It’s not possible to defragment an SSD in Windows (maybe there is a way using some register hack but that’s out of scope)

Ah, you meant the refill. I don’t know how fast that is. It’s way slower than the actual flush though.

Minecraft is still a really good game that still gets fairly large updates.

In my experience it doesn’t work too great.
