I’m waiting for the post mortem before declaring this to not be anything to do with MS tbh. It’s only affecting windows systems and it wouldn’t be the first time dumb architectural decisions on their part have caused issues (why not run the whole GUI in kernel space? What’s the worst that could happen?)

To be fair, more people voted for Corbyn in 2017 and probably even in 2019 (still some votes to be counted at time of writing so that could change but it’ll be close either way) than voted Labour in this election (12.8 million 2017/10.2 million 2019 vs 9.7 million so far in 2024).
It’s just an artifact of FPTP and to some extent overall turnout (which was very low this election) that the results in terms of seats look so different.
This is why I always rename all the variables in the project on each PR.
If it were really that easy to adapt there would be no reason not to support Firefox in the first place…

I mean it’s not a bad point, IE once had the market dominance that chrome does now. By all means continue only supporting one engine but at least be aware that you’re gambling on the browser market not shifting again as it has done in the past.
