If I can’t truly find a job and my expenses are falling behind, fuck it, mind as well just make an EOL plan (end of life). I absolutely refuse to be on the streets.

Because once you fall behind on anything, especially larger expenses, it’s pretty much over. You can’t recover from that unless you submit yourself to loan-hell.

That doesn’t insult your intelligence. That keeps exposition down, we don’t need the movie to try and tell itself to people watching it about what it is. Referential nods are okay, but placating to fanfare is obnoxious. CGI is okay when it has a place that practical effects can’t accommodate. Lack of token characters. Characters that are reasonably scripted. Scripts that don’t insult the actors and actresses having to bother reciting the lines to. A movie that is just put together very well and has little controversies surrounding its development as possible.

I’ve seen an awful lot of bodycam videos to agree. I feel bad for the ones that have to shoot somebody. I’ve even seen some bodycam footage where cops do breakdown after shooting someone. They’re really wishing things never had to go that way, but did because some very crazy people do crazy things or decide to suicide by cop.

I have seen some people in some of my jobs where they desired to be in middle-management, to swear that they wouldn’t be the uptight asshole boss to everyone. The sad reality is, is that management wants to train you to be an unreasonable hardass on people. If they feel you’re too lax, then you’re not going to make it. Which is fucking telling of itself with why management of all levels is so hated.

Any governmental position really. It all sounds incredibly unstable with all of the news with federal wages and benefits. Unless you’re an actual politician, life as federal worker must be incredibly stressful.

So while I hate the solution I’ve been given by my management in how to handle these things. You’re going to have to go to the police on this one. There is actually someone who is like a residential officer of some kind, someone who isn’t the one that has to be dealing with more serious crimes other officers have to. I have a card to one of these people.

You’re going to have to build up a case against this person for noise. Record, document, report. Get a few police reports, bring all of this to management and make it so that they can’t ignore it simply.

However, you’ve complicated this because you’ve retaliated. You’ve given this guy something on the table to use against you and now it’s going to be a matter of constructing a timeline and going to have to be a bit more thorough so people can figure out what started first and who started when. But I’m just saying, he has something now against you for the music so you better be up to a lot of bickering and whatnot.

If you’re communicative with your landlord and ask about some things, usually they will let some things slide provided you help patch up things you might have drilled a hole into a wall for before you leave.

The problem is just doing it anyways and expecting it to be okay.

Life is all about planning and strategizing. If you’re not thinking ahead, more importantly, not thinking through on some things, you’ll always be struggling to figure it out.

The first mistake you’re doing is asking for advice in general. Because you’re not thinking deep in yourself in what matters to you and what you want to achieve from those things.

I don’t really look down at anyone for renting an apartment. Owning a house (lol) can have its challenges. I saw everything my father has been through when he was a homeowner. He now owns his home after paying off the mortgage 24 years later. He last told me he was saving up to deal with the chimney. How much is that? North of 5k ~ 15k. Yeah, no thanks.

There is no way I would be able to survive as a homeowner. Sure, the privacy is great and having to do everything you want without anyone complaining and getting in your face about it, is grand. But to me it is just one trade off.

In an apartment, you don’t have to do your own maintenance and maintenance is always on the house. You don’t have to really worry a lot about some things if you truly feel you can’t wing it as a homeowner. I accept that I’m going to be apartment hopping for the rest of my life and with a very soured relationship with my father, there’s no chance I’m getting his home willed to me, not that I’d want it anyways.

The only thing I would want mandated for all apartments to have, is to have all walls completely as close to being sound-proofed as possible. That way, nobody is at eachother’s throats over noise.

This could be my next phone.

But, but, though. Will the OS be non-proprietary? Will I be able to actually use all the apps I would ideally want? Because, much as I love my Samsung Galaxy, I really do wish I could remove a lot of its bloatware off the phone that I know I won’t ever use.

Karma points on the fediverse practically mean nothing as it does not borrow the functionality as they would on Reddit where if you’re downvoted enough times, you will be prevented from posting as frequently. I guess some people, 3 years later, did not get the memo still when they think it’s so rebellious and cool to parade downvotes on someone. It just makes you look petty and childish, really.

Products and services that might not have been very well worth the money, but it has to be someone’s job to convince another to buy it anyways. You become the very thing you absolutely loathe.

I’m fine on DDR4. DDR5 feels to me, something I’ll get into in like 5 - 10 years from now. This is from someone who has sat on DDR2 and DDR3 machines for extended periods of time. If they’re still doing the job I want them to, no complaints.

My tastes have only slightly inched a direction, but nothing outwardly. A lot of my tastes are considered vanilla as hell.

You’re going to have to do what I did and just leap off of FB for your own sake. If nobody wants to follow you or reach out elsewhere, then it’s their loss.

Sure, there are fediverse versions of FB out there, but they’ve yet to gain ground yet steadily are. But, people are going to be glued to what they use the most and people are stubborn so it’s a matter of you jump or stay.
