I’m 50 and I’ve worked 6-day weeks probably 90% of my working life which started at 14. Even before that, it’s not like you actually got the whole weekend off. I was an honors student, there was always tons of homework.

Always turn it off and on again. Then check cable and physical connections, then start the real troubleshooting. I have fixed over a thousand computers as a hobby. So I’m no pro, but I know that much.

I saw an article posted on Facebook yesterday about the five guys burgers and fries price complaints, and it quoted word for word comments I saw on a thread here on Lemmy the day before that.
I saw he was an anarchist? Not much info that I saw but yeah I could see him having a hard time in the military. I was an anarchist when I was younger too.

I’m replacing a couple of really old PCs at work with slightly less old PCs and I know they don’t meet Windows 11 specs without workarounds. I’m thinking about taking the leap but I need printer support to work. Otherwise something like open office and a web browser will do what I need. What distro should I start with? I don’t have time to find a perfect fit.
There’s also stuff like this that Hollywood employs:
It’s amazing, if you live in super rainy areas water isn’t an issue. Probably never will be, at least in my lifetime. I only take 2-3 showers a week though. Showers irritate my skin.
Yeah I lived there when I was young. It is a completely different reality to where I’m living now.
Can’t ride a bicycle in my area without very insanely high risk of death. You don’t see bikes on roads at all. None of my kids know how to ride. Ive ridden vast distances though. Makes me very sad.
Oh no! Anyway…
