What made you decide to start dating if you hadn’t done so prior? If you don’t mind me asking. I’m also 30 and haven’t ever dated really so I was just curious.

Wow wtf I had an almost identical dating experience…I went on one or two (can’t remember which) awkward, uncomfortable dates realizing I wasn’t into doing it. I felt really bad about it too!! I was probably early 20s at the time. I’m 30 now and have never tried again.
Sometimes I think about trying again with someone from an ace dating website, but no one on there is mutually interested and geographically close enough.
I am always an “avoid tolls” kind of person. I use Google maps a lot and have never had an issue with this.
But just the other week, I was coming back from a road trip and it kept trying to make me use a rolled expressway!! Wtf!! I even triple checked my settings. I don’t understand wtf is up with that
It’s interesting because this has to be pretty conflicting for that man.
I mean, yes you do have memories at 6 as an adult…but really not many. I know he knew he was taken away from his family. But it says that they kidnapper interestingly raised him to being an adult. I wonder what that relationship between him and his kidnapper was like and if he felt that she had become his adopted mom or not.
Shame his real mother never got to learn that he was alive and well. I’m sure everyone assumed he died…as is what happens to most children who go missing.
Definitely the latter. Tmi (but the OP is tmi anyway) but I have never been able to feel sexual pleasure so I have never had an orgasm. Nothing wrong with me to my knowledge. I’m not paralyzed or anything and I never had any traumatic sexual encounters. It just doesn’t work like that for me.
Honestly, it sucks, but nowadays, $400 isn’t overly high for condo HOAs. At least not in my region of the state. For stand alone, detached homes, it’s insane. But fees are crazy high nowadays for everyone. That price for a condo HOA is not outrageous unfortunately.
It is incredibly odd…isn’t it? So many words saying very little.
To OP, I think it would help others to give you advice if you say exactly what sort of plans you had that didn’t work out. Plans not working out come in all shapes and sizes, and advice for one thing doesn’t necessarily apply to another.
If it’s a relationship you seem to desire, then asking for more relationship focused advice may be more fruitful than vaguebooking and not getting much in the way of useful responses.
I mean…yes and no. A down payment for a single family home in today’s market is many orders of magnitude more expensive than $20k. But I agree that weddings are too expensive. Just have a small party and use that money elsewhere.
Jeez dude I hope your hand is still functional ok
I feel like I’ve heard that before. Something about it being concerning if the pain suddenly stops because it indicates that it ruptured. I’m not a doctor though, just something I heard so it might not be accurate.
How did you get your fingers chopped off??
I had some sort of bad migraine episode where I couldn’t stop puking. Every time I threw up, the force of doing so would cause a wave of pain that was like someone hit me in the head with a baseball bat.
I’m an American and work in healthcare. “PCP” is a common way to abbreviate “primary care physician”. Generally, it is not said out loud that way, but it is often abbreviated in forms and documentation.
And yes, I giggle when I see it because I’m immature!
Mine is also my real name
Ah yeah ok haha. The generation divides are only so accurate as to life experiences!!
Are you an older millennial? I’m a younger millennial and I’ve never even so much as seen a typewriter in person let alone typed on one. We were taught to type in school though on computers.
I used an android app called “Just Run”. It’s a free couch to 5K app with no ads. Downside is it’s very simple and it only trains you on the length of your runs, not your distance. So I paired it with a cheap smartwatch to figure out how far I was going. I didn’t make it to 5k at the end of the app (altho I was able to run for 30 mins straight like the app trains you), but I continued to run afterwards now only using my smartwatch.
Initially I was going to run more frequently, but through the advice on the app, I found that it’s best to have at least one rest day in between runs. So I run every one to two days ideally unless I have something going on. It feels less pressuring and draining to do that way too.
Initially, my feet and knees (and even a bit of my chest from using my breathing muscles more lol) hurt a lot, but I just went slow and kept at it and eventually my body got used to running and now everything is fine. I do have mild chronic pain in my left foot, but I think it’s unrelated because it started happening before I picked up running.
Maybe a bit tmi, but I always be sure to take a dump in the morning before I go out for a run lol!!
Good luck! Remember, you don’t have to be Usain Bolt!
This is hardly related to anything at all, but be careful about using your university email as a login for too many things. At least at my university, we only have access to the email for the duration we were in school (and a bit of a grace period afterwards). So afterwards it can be a real pain to switch over a bunch of accounts. And if you forget to switch them over in time you can lose access to them.
That’s interesting. I wonder if I can trick myself into doing stuff like that as a form of punishment. Generally I find myself unable to move so I just stare into space. Sometimes I have a hard time even moving my arms and legs to drive home from work. Or to get out of the car once I’ve parked out front. How do you manage to start?
