Well this makes me feel better about my stupid questions on stack overflow.

Pads, calibers and new discs. That seemed like a lot of money for 17 year old kid. I worked there for a couple of months. I learned a few things, like working on brakes is not for me.
Lol, ya it was the breaks that I was too broke to afford brakes.
Reminds me of when my breaks started failing on my 1990 Chrysler LeBaron so I got a job at a break repair place long enough to fix them then I quit.
Haven’t had cable TV in more than a decade. It’s nice to see Comcast, Cox, and Spectrum get a few consequences. I remember being in disbelief when Comcast told me that just Internet alone was more expensive than the TV/phone combo.
Man home assistant is such a rabbit hole. You start with automating a smart light then three years later your soldering your own custom ESP32 with a total organic volume sensor to automatically turn on the bathroom fan.
Totally agree on Microsoft having a vested interest with being the US Gov main software provider and the spend a lot to keep it that way
While I don’t have much experience using nixos as a hypervisor I do have a few years experience using Proxmox on top of Debian. Managing multiple VMs and backups are very straightforward with Proxmox. As for your daily driver VM, the skies the limit, well mostly your HDD space is the limit. I’ve realized that after trying a ton of different distros the only real difference is the package manager and the preinstalled software.
Embrace, extend, and extinguish Microsoft’s gonna do what it does.
I’m off the opinion that no animal would be beneficial to remove. In almost every instance where we have exterminated a species there has been negative unanticipated consequences. Even mosquitos and bed bugs, there are predators that eat them and subsequent predators that eat them and so on. It’s kind of like the butterfly effect. It’s a balance formed from eons of coexistence that is not to be tampered with. There is so many examples where scientists try to introduce an animal to exterminate another that has gone horribly wrong. Regardless of my opinion, all living things have a part in our world. I’m not a vegetarian btw, but I do use Arch.
I would say if anything MPV player can play more types of video than VLC.
I’ve rented a few new cars and I’m just really not a fan of the all lack of physical buttons and controls. The smart settings like lane control, smart cruise control, the engine turning off when stopped, and notifying me with an alert when I’ve driven to many hours are extremely annoying.
I have a purple mattress and it’s ok, not life changing but better than my 5+ year old box spring. But I absolutely agree that sex on a memory foam is unpleasant to say the least.
Sort of related, but which pillow is best because I’ve been burned before like OP.
I installed Debian so I could install Proxmox. Now I have like 10 VMs with every flavor of Linux I could want. Still partial to Arch tho.
Duke Nukem. Hear me out, Duke Nukem Forever was garbage and was the butt of many jokes. It was considered vaporware until it came out and was dated when it did come out. The humor in the 3D version is juvenile and wouldn’t translate today. Actually, nevermind. I just liked it and thought it was fun but there’s no way it could exist in today’s world.
I’m in the same boat. What do you think are the limiting factors? I’m starting to see that federation is a double edge sword. It’s like every week a dozen new instances pop-up that have nefarious motives that need to be defederated with.
Can you post pictures? That sounds cool.
Lol, the way it was formatted made me think there was some kind of religious healthcare insurance that involved tipping. Sounds like something that might exist.
candlewood suites, never had a bad experience.
