Yeah pet licenses should definitely be a thing
Folding Ideas is my favorite channel, but since someone else already recommended that, I’ll also recommend Thomas Flight. He’s a film nerd, but its all really beautifully explained and he also puts a lot of effort into highlighting things that he likes. His video “Why do Movies Feel So Different Now” was really enlightening.
Oh hell yeah, we just finished this year’s rewatch last night
Become a politician, then sell out to a corporation
TUNIC is another game that you can only play once. I recommend it to anyone who likes elaborate puzzles
Good on ya. The whole book is like that.
I’m fresh out of grad school, and the shift from 22k to 60k has been life changing
I’m not quite as bad as you, but i do not cry as often as I’d like to, joy or sad. I think I last cried when I took an edible and watched Your Name
This is such a weird change that has happened in the last decade or so. I remember the comments on youtube videos being the absolute worst. There were definitely memes about “Youtube comment section being vile”. I think that an improvement in moderation tools, plus a switch to an engagement model (aside from all of the negatives that brought) really changed the culture of commenting on youtube.
I think this is the video that made it popular
YOUR HOME BED WAS MISSING OR OBSTRUCTED
I spent a summer in Bregenz, basically the western tip of Austria. A beautiful little town on the Bodensee (Lake Constance), with a waterfront opera house and a park that runs along the water to just chill with a döner in hand and look out on the lake. Also, there’s a skylift to ride up one of the nearby mountains and get an even better view. Definitely not one of the most exciting places, but if you ever want a chill day, you can’t do much better.
Well, you’ve seen it now
At this point there are so many bubbles, the question is which one will burst first
Sorry, “not guilty” was what I meant
I think you mean plead innocent. I mean everyone deserves both, but in this case there’s no doubt trump’s got the right to plead guilty
Very good analogy. Questioning Tom Bombadil’s role in Middle Earth is the reason Tolkien included him, in my mind at least. The reader sees him as mysterious, mystical, alien, and seemingly detached from the world around him. And we try to fit him into the rest of the world, but not everything fits into nice little boxes. Some aspects of life will always be unknowable. The same goes for history and myth, which Tom seems to be very related to.
It definitely wouldn’t be the left image. With legs like those, you could never pull the pants up past the first (or I guess technically last) level of branching. It would either be the big pants or a large number of seperate, smaller pants on each of the lowest branches.
