Actually I had it for about a month but they switched me back to the normal version. I did write them a strongly worded feedback, but I dont think it was because of that.
git config --global merge.ff no
I think “prompt engineer” is the best job title on multiple levels
And the first was by far the best
GlobalWidescreenSupportDetectorListenersManagerFactoryRegistrationPointFallbackAdapterFacadeSingleton
Fuck that. It’s awesome! I want to have lazy initialized globals. It’s that package. I want code to shorten my builder pattern I import that. I need a typed concurrent work steel queue. No problem.
I look at a c project. Everywhere custom macros to do the most basic shit. I want to parse an xml in c? Better use a sax Parser and put all the data into globals. Cryptography? Better implement that ourselves… Using a library would be too much of a hassle.
I like und use “main” because it’s shorter, but call it master branch in colloquial speech because it’s cooler.
Isn’t Linux more like a benevolent dictatorship. At least the kernel development.
Don’t know what people have? The last time wifi didnt work out of the box for me was like 2010
Same here. Always wanted to do cool games. But wanted to have an even cooler scripting language for the game. At some point programming languages became more interesting. Now working in ide development :D never finished a game
Actually the language is quite small. The features, it has, are just quite powerful and have huge synergies so that it seems that you have a lot of complex features. It has a lot of weird corner case stuff, but most of that is because of the jvm and other languages have that too unfortunately.
And then in the end we realize the most important thing was the tests we wrote along the way.
Well the first chapter is very good and reading it will explain why this book is so influential. It’s also not very long. You can do it 💪
I think no one has read Manufacturing Consent beyond the first chapter.

Think I broke both rules…
Yeah totally agree. I can give it credit for being adapted for better accommodating flutter, but it has extremely many things where it does not come across as modern
