I find the effect for real life movies isn’t great but in animated films they seem to have more control of how it’s layered. I’ve enjoyed it a couple times and hated it a few times, but it really is a gimmick for now.

Decent passive 3D tech (no glasses) or actual advances in holographic tech might change that but not much else will take over 2D being mainstream.

When a platform grows too fast it loses it’s identity. If I had to bet I’d guess the recent migration has already stretched what identity Lemmy had before.

I don’t think this is a joke answer. This was the only way a buddy could keep the cats from going in his kids sandbox.

Lots of ways to educate yourself for a new job. You could take night classes at the local junior college if you have some money, or you can find free things online that would relate more directly to the sort of work you want to apply to. E.g. learning the basics of Excel at night for a month.

Post questions here if you’re looking for specific resources. You’d be surprised what you can find online for free!

Other comment has great recommendations for the sorts of jobs you could do with minimal experience.

He refuses to believe that there is demand for adoption but that red tape has made it a less than desirable path.
