That’s rough :(
That’s rough :(
Hmm I wonder if my novel started years ago and never finished past the first scene is still on hiveword…
It’s a shame some of the locals hurled racist abuse to a diverse student body from Imperial many moons back!
I didn’t, never do, but saw her the shop before shouting at a colleague who was overwhelmed and asking for help. She genuinely seemed to be allergic to work.
That’s wild, how big is your house? My monthly spend on heating is 1/4 of that during winter to keep it at 21.
Grim Fandango, Full Throttle and Normality all have vivid memories in my brain.
As in, Kent?
I do scan as you shop. So when I get to the checkout, answer a question about whether everything scanned OK and then pay. But today we had 70+ items in our shop and got flagged for random spot check. Some exasperated cashier, frustrated she actually had to do some work and couldn’t just sit there having excess calories around her waist weighing her down heavily breathed “I need to check 40+ of these”. So that took forever.
you can go hunter2 my hunter2-ing hunter2
When AltaVista was actually good was another highlight. Babel Fish was great for its time.
Now this would be useful.
Ahh yes I remember it.
Probably Dragon Dictate?
Brush it daily!
I love working from home. But I do go in more because it’s partly mandated but I take great flexibility with it. It genuinely helps me to be in a couple of days a week, but I’d like that to be my decision, not management. It isn’t the same for everyone either. Many roles are better off remote tbh. Our employer assesses category of work done and applies some full wfh where it makes sense, but some I feel get mischaracterised.
Currently travelling and managed to get my beard in check almost a week ago. Will probably be untouched for another month. My hair is also getting long. I’m afraid of weirding people out but every time I get a haircut and beard trim + wet shave they always make my beard too short and it’s annoying to grow it back to how I want it. I generally keep it reasonably short and neat but let’s see what happens after this next month of travel.
Interesting but should be baked in.
I too have enjoyed this suffering a few times now.
I’ve been toying with the idea of getting back into Linux for a while now. While I’m still on W10 I’m not rushing, and haven’t installed a TPM Module so Windows doesn’t force W11 on me yet, but when I have no choice that may push my hand. There’s some stuff I find easier on Windows but Linux has really caught up in the past 20 years and I reckon I could daily it in the coming years.
