Prehistoric gif coming in!
My friends with a lot of kids got a used airport limousine. I guess it was cheaper than an express van at the time. That was pretty cool and unique.
At least on their home turf with their western equipment, yes. Russia is throwing pretty much everything at Ukraine, and Ukraine is doing pretty well.
Plus they’re asking for more money that they haven’t stolen yet. Russia doesn’t even control large parts of the territory it’s decided to annex.
Russia can claim anything is a political reason. Russia and a lot of western nations have more Nazis than Ukraine, but Russia still used that as a justification.
Why would they lose more than they’ve already lost? Their expectation is that western aid will continue, allowing them an advantage over Russia in the long term. Russia thinks Western aid will dry up (maybe due to trump being elected) so their anticipated outcome is better in the long run. When the question of enduring western aid is answered, there will be less of a difference in expectations, meaning continued conflict isn’t advantages since it’d cost more than both sides gains expectations.
I highly recommend looking into the game theory behind the war. https://youtube.com/@gametheory101
This memorandum would be just at much of a joke, I’m for Russia will write or argue in such a way to make whatever they agree to void when they invade again. Russia is really good at changing the definitions of things when it suits them.
Yeah so why should Russia dictate the terms?
Plus Russia doesn’t even control all of the regions they’ve annexed. This is asking Ukraine to give up more territory than Russia has occupied and agree to never join NATO for noting in return.
Without nato membership, nothing prevents Russia from trying again once they’ve regenerated their forces. Russia has already broken their promise to
reaffirm their commitment to Ukraine, in accordance with the principles of the CSCE [Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe] Final Act, to respect the Independence and Sovereignty and the existing borders of Ukraine
So Russians pledges are worth less than nothing.
But I can’t remotely set their allowable usage time and access list. Maybe dual booting would work though.
My issue is family control. I haven’t found a way to get Microsoft family type control yet on Linux, since my sibling uses my computer. The syncing time allowed across devices is the hard part.
Some tvs require you to connect to the internet to set up I believe. Cars have their own built in connection, (such as OnStar)so you can’t avoid connecting them in the first place since they come connected from the factory.
Open source is good for distributed projects. But because of economies of scale, remotely economical car manufacturing will always be centralized. That power gradient would make open source very difficult.
On star is one of those networks. There should be info in the owners manual on which fuse it goes to so you can pull it and disable it.
That’s why international relations and treaties are hard, since anyone can just decide they don’t want to honor them any more. You need to make it enticing for all parties to stay committed somehow.
They also mandate a backup camera, so that means they need to have a screen.
Does it save drafts yet? That was my reason to switch to boost.
Forgiveness in exchange for favors. All sides play the leverage game.
