Stand by me comes to mind
Can’t pay for schools when all the money is going to missiles!
Not very constructive either to question people’s drinking habits for the sake of winning an argument. Whatever, you have a good one
I am completely OK with Palestinian resistance to Israel’s oppression. I think Palestinian people have a right to resist Israel’s colonization. However, you will not make me believe that Hamas is an emancipation force which is fighting for freedom. It is an antisimetistic Islamist group who massacred people on October 7 in the most gruesome way, specifically because they were Jews.
I am well versed in oppression and uprising history, thank you. I still believe that Hamas is not every Palestinian, that not every Palestinian is Hamas and that the October 7 massacre was antisemitic at its core.
Am I the only one around here who is both scandalized by the way Israel is treating Palestinians and the way Hamas committed an atrocious antisemitic terrorist attack?
In other news, water is wet
Noone wins a war of occupation. You either learn to live with conquered peoples and give them access tibequal rights (Roman empire) or completely erase the local population (Europeans in North America).
Same rhetoric as German occupiers claiming that they would not execute civilian hostages as long as Resistance fighters would give themselves up. Sorry for the Goldwyn point but you made it a low hanging fruit.

Bulshit. The diaspora started in 63BC, under Roman rule. Everybody could live peacefully side by side in one country, save for the religious nutheads pushing their hatred rhetoric
Not a millenia old feud. A one-centure-GB-US-Iran engeneered old feud.
Very hard to shake out the hatred once you have been brought up with it. People are fed with hatred from their infancy, they breathe hatred every day, they dream of hearted every night. France and Germany did this for two generations and it brought WW1. Germany and Japan did it again in the 20s and 30s and it brought WW2. Hamas, Likoud, Hezbollah and Republicans are feeding the same hatred to their members.
You could have cited the uprising of the Warsaw Ghetto
Hate mail if he’s lucky. Yitzhak Rabin was murdered trying to bring the peace with Palestine.
I meant Algeria is a quasi a dictatorship and I don’t know if Algerian journalists are authorized to comment on the benefits of their government’s involvement with the Nigerien regime. I don’t know to which point people or even elected officials can express their view freely, and I wonder what they think of it.
I’m sorry that my English is not precise enough to avoid such misinterpretation. Or maybe you are just trolling, who knows?
I wonder what the common citizen of Algeria thinks about this proposal: is the population engaged in foreign policy by media information and public discussion?
From the comment section below the timesofisrael article: “Yes, the charter that led to the creation of the State of Israel. LOL. What a self-own.”
