They’re both apartheid shills. Blacklist them.
Sheer fucking will? A night of sleep? LSD? I dunno.
Celeste is a truly difficult 2D platformer. VVVVVV follows behind. Metroid Dread is a cruel one.
F-ZERO X and GX are both racers with incredibly high skill ceilings. Which one is harder depends on what you’re doing with the game. I’d argue GX has harder base gameplay, but X has harder speedruns.
I’ll also mention Final Fantasy IV because it’s shockingly difficult compared to the rest of the series. This one gave me a more game over screens than any of the others.
I don’t want to cure cancer, I want to turn people into dinosaurs!
As a fox/hyena therian, it’s foxes and hyenas. Shocker, I know. I identify with their behaviour, which is a whole thing that’s too hard to put into words–they’re just so me.
The April Fool’s joke that never ends.
Reddit, and Roblox being run into the ground.
My childhood is having Carameldansen be a popular meme, and then having that promptly taken away.
EDIT: I also witnessed the birth and the death of “Vine”.
I’ve stopped caring about Apple so much, that I forgot to look forward to September. This year flew by.
Strains my eyes. Plus, this is a living room–couches, not desks.
I forgot a key factor. The Bravia’s optical audio output sucks. I like to use headphones when playing Tetris Effect. I’m telling you, playing Tetris Effect with good headphones on this 65in OLED TV while high is an unmatchable experience. No sound issues here, so that’s great.
I’d genuinely prefer to do this, but they don’t make 65in monitors.
A Samsung (good lord). If you can believe it, HDMI inputs are treated as app icons, and there’s no input switch button to speak of. They’re APPS only visible if the TV feels like recognising a device.
I should have gotten a Bravia. The screen quality is marginally better here, but Jesus Christ.
Smart TVs have ruined gaming. The UI is absolute dogshit, and I can’t even simply switch HDMI inputs without this whole useless setup process EVERY FUCKING TIME
Unique case here. Qobuz sells songs. I have the Sublime tier. It’s a temporary subscription for acquiring albums for a discount while not losing access to HiFi.
I’m cancelled
I love Celeste’s simple, effective storytelling. Every aspect of the game ties into its own meaning–the environments, the music, the challenge. Extraordinarily well done.
Surprisingly detailed is the Horizon series. Replaying Zero Dawn and seeing just how much of the story is set up before and during the tutorial is genuinely crazy. Every event feels like an actual part of the narrative, rather than random filler.
Chrono Trigger. Timeless masterpiece. Arguably the greatest JRPG ever made, and yet another one that gets more fun the more you analyse it.
All of these were pretty good on Deck, and should work well on anything. Went for a mix of genres.

Try a Henry. I’m in the US, where getting one for cheap seems quite difficult. Within Europe, though? You’ll probably have better luck. Henry’s known for reliability and longevity, while also being easy on budget. Some of the most expensive ones are just £200. They’re even on sale right now.
They’re also just cute.
