A lot of people are expressing the sentiment that the government should have exposed and punished them, but quietly kicking out spies is par for the course. When this hits the media it’s generally a bad thing.

Everyone spies on everyone. Everyone knows they are getting spied on. You have to be careful how you respond because you don’t want to escalate. You make it known to the other government that they have been caught and you gently move them on as a show of good will. When your spies are caught abroad breaking laws you want them to do the same for you. Now that this has gone public, India lose face, which could cause future tension. Also, sometimes finding spies on home soil can be useful if you let them think they haven’t been caught.

The average citizen thinks you can use playground rules here, but espionage is all about being subtle.

Have you seen the film Dark Star? Bomb number 20 gets stuck in the release bay with the detonation countdown still running, so they have to spacewalk out and convince the AI not to explode.

Running from Monster-Ock while the facility is exploding around you. That game was such a banger. And it’s short length is made up for by it’s replayability. Collecting all the comics and suits. Amazing.

It might be better not to buy a ticket at all. Finding out that you didn’t board a plane gives them more information about your whereabouts than not being able to determine if you got on a plane with fake ID under a different name.

Downsizing was a real bait and switch

But you can only mistake it as a custom object of you understand how coding works. I’m not saying an understanding will prevent you from being wrong, I’m saying having critical thinking will not reach the answer if you don’t have an understanding.

If you didn’t know the answer, it’s a critical thinking exercise? Not at all.

Answering this question relies completely on understanding programming. A correct answer cannot be reached without an understanding of programming.

This doesn’t rely on critical thinking. It just relies on understanding what “.length” does, which would’ve been previously covered in the lessons.

Knights and merchants

It’s a bit like Warcraft without the supernatural stuff. You have to make a functional town that has farming, stock logistics, weapons manufacture, etc. and then you also have to win against a nearby kingdom.

The mechanics are so broken. You can usually just wait it out for your enemy to run out of resources (to be fair it was the same in Starcraft) but every other level was a battle in an open field, and it was very hard to manage the actions of your army.

I must say I’ve seen in increase of conversations on Reddit that seem like everyone involved has severe lead poisoning.

Get into gate is another good one

I get what you mean, and I think a lot of laymen do have these unreasonable ideas about what LLMs are capable of, but as a counter point we have used the label AI to refer to very simple bits of code for decades eg video game characters.

Haven’t we started using AGI, or artificial general intelligence, as the term to describe the kind of AI you are referring to? That self aware intelligent software?

Now AI just means reactive coding designed to mimic certain behaviours, or even self learning algorithms.

When I saw that film I remember thinking how outlandish it was for her to order pizza on the internet. Even if somehow that were possible, how could you just give a stranger your credit card details!? So, what, you pay a stranger and just hope your pizza arrives? Completely unbelievable.
